Bank of Ireland national enterprise week breakfast panel
On Tuesday the 21st of November. My friends and I went to the Bank of Ireland breakfast panel in Leopardstown race course pavilion. Gavin Duffy and Bobby Kerr and lots of sales experts came to talk about the art of selling and business development. They held a competition like dragons den to a group business’s to see how well they pitched there business. They did a QnA session so people could ask about how they work there methods. They spoke about how the first 10 seconds were important and how to sell an idea. They said when you want to sell someone a product, you should start with “hello my name is .............” and then say and “I can make you rich”. This tool makes you interesting without dragging on. I really enjoyed the talk and it gave me an idea on how to run your business.
Drivers Theory Test
On Wednesday, 27th of september. I left school at 12 o’clock to do my driving theory test. I had been learning and practising online tests the weeks prior to my theory test. I was doing the catagory b test which is for cars and work vehicles. I was dropped on at Wentworth place in Wicklow town at 1:45. I went inside and the lady showed me to the test room. I went inside and started the test. I was the only one in the room. I had 45 minutes to complete the test. There was 40 questions on the test about driving. To pass the test, you had to get 35/40. Once I finished the test, I left the room. Outside the test, I went over to the lady’s desk and she printed out my results. She handed me the sheet. I got 36/40 which ment I passed. I was really happy. I was glad that i had passed because i had worked very hard prior to the test. I was now able to apply for my tractor license and when I turn 17, I can get my car.
